Lona Garnette Kaui

Lona Garnette Kaui, 91, of Volcano died Oct. 8 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a tour bus driver and member of the Teamsters Union. Private services held. Survived by sons, Rudy (Jeri) Duenas of Oregon and Ralon Kim Gella of Pearl City, Oahu; daughter, Ronna Mills and Toni (Jeff) Case of Volcano, Lydia (Jeff) Hoeppner of Kona; son-in-law, Herbert Correia of Volcano; stepsons, Elliot Kalani (Ivy) Kaui of Kaneohe, Oahu, Mark Kaena (Shari) Kaui of Ewa Beach, Oahu, Dean Keaka (Lori) Kaui of Honolulu, Ilikai Kaui of the Mainland and Ralph Kaui of Waianae, Oahu; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; cousins, nieces and nephews. Arlene Leonillo

Arlene Leonillo, 76, of Papaaloa died Nov. 4 at North 91Ö±²¥ Community Hospital in Waimea. Born on Lana, she worked for the federal government. Survived by daughter, Tamiko L (Mark) Wilson of Hilo; son, Anthony K Nance of Hilo; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

IIvan Nanpei Primo

van Nanpei Primo, 48, of Waimea died Oct. 19 in Hilo. Born in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, he was a cook at the Seafood Bar in Kawaihae. Celebration of life 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Spencer Beach Park Pavilion. Survived by wife, Abeline Primo of Waimea; mother, Ioana Nanpei of Kolonia, Pohnpei; father, Kohper Primo of Kolonia, Pohnpei; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
