Patrick Glen De Sa

Patrick Glen De Sa, 76, died Dec. 31. He was born in Hilo. A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 at the Waiakea Uka Community Center, 1200 Ainaola Drive, Hilo. Refreshments will be served. Casual attire. Survived by daughter Jaimelynn (Garrett Takara) De Sa; sons, Tracy (Michelle) De Sa, Damien (Sheila) De Sa, Brandon (Grace) De Sa; grandchildren Joshua De Sa, Shaila De Sa, Jhante Iga, Taylor and Tayson De Sa; Aunt Cecilia (De Sa) Masaoka, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Delbert “Jack” Jackson

Delbert “Jack” Jackson, 88, of Hilo died Dec. 27 at home. He was a retired crane operator for 91ֱan Dredging and a member of Sacred Hearts Church in Pahoa. Private services held. Charles S. Rosa

Charles S. Rosa, 90, of Kaumana, died Jan. 3 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired plumber for the former Lillie Continental Contracting, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, and 91ֱ Army National Guard veteran. Visitation 9-11 a.m., Tuesday (Feb. 10) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service at 11 a.m. Urn committal to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by wife, Joyce Rosa of Hilo; son, Anthony Rosa of Hilo; stepsons, Paul Santos and Randy Santos of Kona; daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Mattos of Volcano, Lauri (David) Mattos of Kaumana and Kathy (Stacy) Horner of Reno, Nev.; sisters, Shirley (Roy) Legaspi and Dorothy Rosa of Hilo; sister-in-law, Lorna Rosa of Hilo; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
