Response to statement
from the governor’s office
I read that Gov. Josh Green’s office said that “Governor Green is supportive of sensible bills that protect law abiding members of our community.”
It doesn’t say the governor actually composed that, but whoever did would make a great stand-up comedian.

Care 91Ö±²¥ and similar organizations must do better
I am writing to share my experience as a client of Care 91Ö±²¥ in the hope of encouraging greater transparency and accountability in the services provided to vulnerable members of our community.
I made repeated attempts to resolve my concerns through internal channels, including sending numerous emails to staff and supervisory personnel. When those efforts did not result in meaningful action, I felt compelled to bring this matter to public attention.
As someone seeking stability, medical care and recovery support, I relied on my assigned case manager to provide accurate information, advocacy and reasonable assistance. Instead, I experienced what I believe to be misrepresentation and a failure to meet professional obligations.
As a result, I was unable to attend doctor’s appointments, obtain necessary medication, or participate in essential NA and AA meetings.
I am an independent person who values dignity and self-sufficiency. The loss of access to basic services and recovery support has caused significant emotional and mental distress, including a worsening of PTSD symptoms.
These are not abstract concerns. They reflect real consequences for individuals who depend on case management services to navigate health care, housing and recovery systems.
My purpose in writing is not to attack, but to encourage Care 91Ö±²¥ and similar organizations to strengthen oversight, improve communication and ensure that clients are treated with consistency, respect and honesty.
I believe public awareness plays an important role in promoting accountability and meaningful improvement in the systems that serve our community.
