Trump’s actions indicate he wants to be an emperor
Donald Trump has been making a lot of noise about taking Greenland by one means or another. He claims that the U.S. needs to control Greenland for “national security.” That is pure bulls**t. Let’s take a logical look at the claim.
Trump claims that Russia or China wants to take over the island. But could they?
If China were to try to invade Greenland, they would have to send troops and supplies thousands of miles to Greenland. The shortest route would be by the Arctic sea, which is closed part of the year due to ice (aircraft are not feasible). Also, the ships would have to pass through the narrow Bering Strait and would be attacked all the way by aircraft, Navy ships and submarines.
The other way would be around Africa or South America, a voyage which would take weeks or months and again be attacked all the way. Either way, it’s not feasible and China knows this.
If Russia were to try to take Greenland — again, the ships and aircraft would be attacked all the way. Plus NATO would automatically and immediately be at war (Article 5 of the NATO agreement) and would attack the Russian homeland. Russia would be forced to bring their troops back to fight the combined NATO forces (they already have trouble with a non-NATO country, Ukraine). They already know this so, no, Russia isn’t going to try.
So, why does Trump want Greenland? He wants to create an empire.
If he is able to take Greenland, then he will turn his attention to Canada. He’s already said that Canada should be the 51st state. The combined sizes of the U.S., Greenland and Canada will be bigger than Russia (now the biggest country in the world). A photo was released (by Trump) showing the American flag over the U.S., Greenland and Canada.
He has said that he won’t use force, but I don’t believe him. He has lied way too much. He likes to put his name on things, so he’ll call it Trump’s Empire or Trumpland.
He will invite American mining companies to plunder the natural resources of Greenland (estimated to be between several billion to a trillion dollars). Do you think they will share the wealth with the local people? At best, they will offer a tiny token amount to the Greenlanders, but it will be nowhere near what they’re making, and they will be raping and polluting the land.
Still don’t think that Trump wants to be an emperor? What’s the first thing that dictators do when they get power? They try to control the media. Look at Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, the Kims (North Korea) and more. If you don’t believe me, you should read up on history.
Trump has restricted ABC, NBC, CBS, AP news and Reuters while giving more access to other news outlets friendly to him. He has openly discussed canceling the licenses of ABC, NBC and CBS because they weren’t friendly to him.
Trump has occupied Democrat-led cities. His ICE agents have been given federal immunity (Steven Miller), and only Democrat officials are being investigated (he is trying to suppress dissent).
Basically, he is nothing more than a spoiled, immature, greedy bully who has been given a great big stick, and he’s willing to use that stick to get his way.
We have to stop Emperor Trump now! If we don’t, he will destroy NATO (again Article 5), which is exactly what Putin wants.

What ICE is doing now
will be very expensive later
In World War II, the United States forced many U.S. citizens of Japanese descent into concentration camps. There was no opportunity for those prisoners to challenge their imprisonment.
Years later, the U.S. apologized for that clearly illegal, unconstitutional and racist action. In addition to the apology, the U.S. paid $1.6 billion as restitution to those incarcerated or their heirs.
Today, we can see the same scenario unfolding. A U.S. agency – ICE — is imprisoning thousands of people with no due process. Certainly, those illegally imprisoned will one day file suit to seek damages.
One difference between the Japanese internment and the ICE internment is that many of those being imprisoned by ICE are forced to live in filthy cages, denied basic services and suffer abuse. Their treatment will deserve enhanced damages.
Award of billions of dollars can be expected.
