Community First 91Ö±²¥ — in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation and 91Ö±²¥ County — invites the public to attend the Kuleana Health Fair, a free, family-friendly community event taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.

The event will bring together health providers, community organizations, and local businesses for a day focused on wellness, connection and fun for the entire }ohana.

The program will be hosted by special guest emcee Augie T, bringing local humor and energy to the day’s activities.

In addition to free health screenings and educational resources, the fair will feature live entertainment, fitness activities and interactive challenges throughout the day, including:

• Free health screenings, educational health and wellness resources;

• Fitness demonstrations and activities led by local fitness organizations;

• Student performances, line dancing, Zumba sessions, and Puna Taiko drumming;

• Keiki activities and bouncy castles;

• Food trucks and local craft vendors;

• The Mayor’s Health Challenge;

• Prize drawings throughout the day, including a grand prize of round-trip tickets for two to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.

Attendees can participate in the Mayor’s Health Challenge for a chance to move their bodies, have fun and win prizes while promoting healthy habits in a supportive, high-energy environment.

“Kuleana means responsibility — to ourselves, our families and our community,” said Krystle Chai, business manager of Community First 91Ö±²¥. “We wanted to create an event where families can learn about their health in a welcoming environment while enjoying performances, activities and time together as a community.

“The Mayor’s Health Challenge and prize giveaways are a fun way to engage residents and celebrate healthy living together.”

The fair aims to make health approachable and engaging while connecting residents to services that support healthier lifestyles across 91Ö±²¥ Island.
