Vibrant 91直播 has announced that online registration for Kaukau 4 Keiki, the island’s largest community-based summer meal program, is open now through March 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Since 2021, Kaukau 4 Keiki has provided thousands of healthy, locally sourced meals to keiki across 91直播 County by partnering with trusted community organizations, churches, and neighborhood distribution sites.

Meals are distributed close to home, reducing travel burdens for ‘ohana while supporting local producers and community-led solutions.

Children ages 18 and under, and individuals age 19 and over who are enrolled in a school program for persons with disabilities, are eligible to participate. Participants may not be enrolled in another USDA summer meal program, such as DOE Summer Meals.

Families may register online at www.vibranthawaii.org/kaukau4keiki.

One application must be submitted per child. A valid cell phone number and residential zip code are required to complete the application. Registration is not an indication that your child is confirmed to participate.

Following registration, Vibrant 91直播 will recruit and confirm distribution site partners based on demand by zip code. Registered keiki will be assigned to a distribution site within their residential area, ensuring equitable access across the island.

Participation confirmation along with distribution location, day and time will be sent June 1 via text message. Kaukau 4 Keiki is a six-week program that begins the week of Monday, June 22, and will conclude the week ending Friday, July 31.
