HCFCU intern honored
KAILUA-KONA — Sean Kobayashi, a marketing intern with the 91直播 Community Federal Credit Union in 2025, has been recognized as the 91直播 County Intern of the Year in the Private Sector category.
Kobayashi received the award at the 2026 91直播 Internship Summit, hosted by the Workforce Development Council. The recognition highlights outstanding internship experiences across the state and celebrates excellence in work-based learning.
A student at University of 91直播 at Manoa, Kobayashi joined HCFCU’s marketing department in the latter part of 2025. During his time with the credit union, he supported a range of projects that strengthened both internal operations and member-facing efforts.
One of his key contributions included assisting with a comprehensive review of HCFCU’s online reputation and digital presence. His work helped guide future strategies to better engage with member feedback and strengthen the credit union’s visibility and responsiveness online.
